Jordy Alexander has spent the last two years coaching with the ABA fall/winter program and the Junior Dinos midget Black AAA team in the Norwest league.  Prior to this, he coached and ran different teams and camps throughout Alberta and Canada. He has earned several certifications throughout NCCP and Baseball Alberta programs. Prior to his coaching career, Jordy grew up in Burnaby BC, and was drafted in 1996 by the KC Royals. Throughout his playing career he played 11 professional seasons within Canada and the US, in addition to having played in 10 other countries.  Additionally, Jordy represented Team Canada’s senior national team on five different occasions including three World Cups.

Nelson grew up playing baseball in the Calgary area for a number of teams. After high school he attended Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC where he pitched for three years for former MLB pitcher Ray Chadwick. He is a Junior Dinos alumni, having spent his last year of minor baseball in the program. During his time with the Junior Dinos he helped the team win multiple tournament titles both on the mound, and in the infield. His season with the JD’s helped prepare him for his most successful collegiate season, in which he posted a 2.70 ERA out of the bullpen, with a 2-0 record, and a save. During his time at TRU he was a versatile pitcher, used at one time or another in every role, both as a starter and out of the bullpen. While in Kamloops, Nelson was involved with helping run a number of camps and clinics for the Kamloops Minor Baseball Association. He has since returned home to Calgary, to finish his Kinesiology degree at the University of Calgary. He has helped run the Absolute Baseball Academy summer camps for the last 3 years, and this past summer was the assistant coach on the Junior Dinos Bantam AAA team. Currently, he is working with both the Pee Wee and Bantam programs primarily focusing on pitching and defensive work.

Scott hails from a cattle farm near the western Manitoba town of Rivers. He grew up playing ball throughout Manitoba. Scott spent his entire collegiate baseball as a starting pitcher with the University of Jamestown Jimmies.  In his Senior year, he helped the team to a 25-0 start and a 52-11 over all record, achieving a national ranking as high as 8, and finishing the season ranked 11 th overall. Scott spent three years as a starting pitcher with the WMBL Weyburn Beavers, winning Weyburn’s first division title in 2015. Scott has also worked as a catcher and outfielder with Provincial teams that have represented Manitoba at Nationals. This past year he returned to Weyburn this year as an assistant coach for the Beavers.
